.....India is a land of great beauty. To the first time western traveler, a period of adjustment may be necessary to see its magnificence. Poverty in larger proportions than anywhere in the United States is everywhere. Also, visitors often attract much attention from the native people out of curiosity of their clothing and skin color or desire to sell trinkets or beg. This attention becomes tiring quickly and gave me an appreciation of a celebrities public life. Beginning is Delhi, we explored Rajasthan, Agra and Varanasi then flew north into war torn Kashmir.
